Cartoon boy lifting weights in a blue shirt and black pants. Rockingham Moves Challenge is written in pink and blue.

John Wayland Elementary is piloting a 30-day movement program called Rockingham Moves, created by Hilary Irons, a School Board member, and Joel Hensley, a Board of Supervisors member. The goal of this program is simple: help students discover that daily movement can become a normal, positive part of their lives. This challenge is not about competition or athletic ability. It is about building small habits that can last a lifetime. Information was sent home with your child on Friday, April 10. More information and a tracking sheet are linked here.
